To earn this certification our fixtures were subjected to review, evaluation and testing as well as a facility audit to ensure compliance to NSF’s international sanitation standards. NSF International standards serve as the benchmarks by which all commercial foodservice equipment products are measured. Certification signifies to customers, specifiers and health departments that these products meet all applicable North American regulatory sanitation requirements. NSF International food equipment standards ensure the product will not leach harmful chemicals into food; design and construction to make sure product is cleanable and is not likely to harbor bacteria.
NSF International is a global independent organization that writes standards and protocols, tests and certifies products for the food, water and consumer goods industries to minimize adverse health effects and to protect the environment. Founded in 1944, NSF is a Pan American Health Organization concerned with food safety, water quality and indoor environment.
